Egg freezing across Thailand compared: clinics and hospital units with a published programme, their storage terms and what Thai law says about access. Check services, staff, fees and availability with each provider before you book.
Published egg-freezing programmes are concentrated in Bangkok. Elsewhere, check that freezing is offered locally.
Access for unmarried women depends on the clinic. Using the eggs later falls under the rules for IVF.
Export of eggs from Thailand is regulated. Check the rules before you freeze if you may use the eggs abroad.
Compare the full cost in three parts: the freezing cycle, yearly storage, and the later thaw, fertilisation and transfer.
Our method for this page
We read each provider's own web pages on egg freezing clinics in Thailand and kept only statements we could trace to a source. Nobody paid to be included, and the list is not a quality ranking. Criteria:
Bumrungrad offers egg freezing by vitrification at –196°C. It presents it for women not yet ready for parenthood, for those with conditions that can speed the loss of eggs such as SLE or endometriosis, and for those facing chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery on the ovaries.
The published steps are a consultation and examination, stimulation injections starting around day 2 or 3 of the cycle, three to four monitoring visits, an egg collection of about 30 minutes, and freezing in the laboratory. The hospital says frozen eggs can in theory be kept indefinitely but advises using them within 10 years, and that they are later fertilised with sperm from the patient's legal spouse.
Enquiries, bookings and teleconsultations go through the hospital's contact centre. No package price or storage fee is published. The service may suit women, including those with a medical reason to freeze, who want treatment in a hospital setting.

Bangkok Hospital's Fertility Center publishes its egg-freezing package in two parts. Package A (stimulation, 138,000 baht) covers 10 days of stimulation medication, three scans and three doctor visits. Package F (egg collection and freezing, 126,500 baht) covers the doctor and anaesthetist fees on the day, the operating and recovery rooms, procedure supplies and the freezing itself. The estimated total is 264,500 baht.
Storage is charged separately at 1,300 baht per vial per year. The package excludes non-IVF costs such as general blood tests, X-rays and take-home medicine, any extra diagnostic tests, and unlisted hospital, doctor or nursing fees. The price applies to fly-in patients only and is valid until 31 December 2026.
The centre suggests that people planning to start a family later discuss egg or sperm freezing with its specialists. The package may suit women travelling to Bangkok who want treatment in a hospital setting with a clearly itemised price.

Samitivej lists egg freezing under fertility preservation at its Fertility Center, alongside embryo and sperm freezing, and the centre also offers the genetic screening and IVF needed to use frozen eggs later.
For women who may not suit conventional stimulation, such as those with PCOS, the hospital's IVM approach collects immature eggs and matures them in the laboratory; its IVM article notes that eggs or embryos may need to be frozen while the womb lining is prepared.
No egg-freezing package, storage fee or storage term was visible on the hospital's website when checked, and the centre page does not say who is eligible. The service may suit women already considering treatment at Samitivej who want freezing alongside its other fertility options, at a centre open every day from early morning to late evening.

JCI Clinical Care Program Certification (fertility centre)
Phyathai 2's fertility centre lists egg freezing among its services, carried out with the same embryo laboratory and team that run its IVF cycles. The centre's page explains that egg quality and quantity fall with age, especially after 35, and encourages earlier consultation for women in that group.
Stimulation and monitoring follow the hospital's described IVF pathway: hormone injections for about eight to ten days with scans and blood tests, then egg collection through the vagina under sedation or general anaesthesia, which takes 20–30 minutes.
No egg-freezing package, storage fee or eligibility rule is published. The centre may suit women who want freezing inside a general hospital with English-speaking support.
Superior A.R.T. describes egg freezing as 8–12 days of hormone injections, egg collection under light anaesthesia and vitrification at –196°C. It presents it for women not ready for children or who have not yet found a partner, for cancer patients before chemotherapy or radiotherapy, and for women with a family history of early menopause or low ovarian reserve. It says there is no strict legal age limit, while suggesting 28–35 as the practical window.
Its ELITE Egg Freezing Package is listed at THB 185,000 (standard price THB 259,000) for one cycle. It covers doctor consultations during stimulation, pre-retrieval blood tests, hormone tests and scans, standard stimulation medication, the trigger injection, the retrieval and its doctor fee, post-retrieval medication, and freezing of all eggs collected with three years of storage. Outside the package, the FAQ lists a one-off THB 20,000 freezing fee for up to 10 samples and THB 2,500 per sample per year for storage.
The clinic says the active phase takes two to three weeks. It may suit single women wanting a published price that includes storage.
Package includes 3 years' storage
All eggs collected are frozen

Worth confirming: The package is a promotion for one cycle and can change without notice; confirm the price, what storage costs after the third year, and how many trips you will need.
Jetanin freezes eggs by vitrification and stores them in liquid nitrogen at –196°C. It lists egg freezing for women facing cancer treatment or another condition that may affect fertility, women with a family history of early menopause, those with ovarian problems such as endometriotic cysts or previous surgery, and women who are not ready to have a child for social reasons. It also uses it within IVF when sperm cannot be collected on the day of egg retrieval.
The hospital says it has reported a live birth from eggs frozen for 10 years, and that its embryology lab holds ISO 9001, ISO 15189, JCI and RTAC accreditation, with embryologists certified in Thailand and by ESHRE. It notes that results depend on age and egg quality.
No package price, storage fee or storage term is published, and the page does not say whether single women are accepted. The programme may suit women who want freezing done at an accredited, fertility-only hospital and are prepared to request a quote.

Worth confirming: Ask for the package price, annual storage fee and storage term in writing, and confirm whether the programme accepts unmarried women.
SAFE freezes unfertilised eggs by vitrification and stores them in liquid nitrogen at –196°C. It lists egg freezing for women not ready for pregnancy (particularly those over 35), patients facing chemotherapy, radiotherapy or ovarian surgery, people with genetic conditions that affect the ovaries such as Turner or Fragile X syndrome, and for egg donation where it is permitted.
The process mirrors the start of IVF: blood tests and a scan, about 8–10 days of injections with two or three monitoring visits, then retrieval. The group's international page states that single women can freeze eggs for social reasons with no marital-status restriction, and that eggs are kept in an ISO-certified cryopreservation facility with 24-hour monitoring. An egg-freezing package is offered at all five branches; its brochure lists four monitoring visits with blood tests and scans, stimulation and trigger medication, the retrieval with anaesthesia, and the first year's storage of up to 20 eggs, after which storage is THB 10,000 per cycle per year.
The service page encourages freezing earlier rather than later and says eggs can be stored indefinitely. It may suit single women, including those travelling from abroad, who want a coordinated programme.
Open to single women
Offered at all five branches
Vitrification
Storage monitored 24/7
Worth confirming: The brochure gives the storage fee but not the package price; ask for a written quote and what happens if more than 20 eggs are collected.
Beyond IVF lists egg freezing within a fertility preservation service that also covers embryo and sperm freezing, and that includes patients facing cancer treatment and transgender patients.
It publishes prices in two forms. The IVF/ICSI package page gives egg freezing from 100,000 baht, covering a health check, stimulation, retrieval and freezing. The dedicated egg-freezing page instead splits the cost into stimulation medication, scans and follow-up visits from 35,000 baht, and the retrieval procedure and freezing from 44,000 baht. Storage is charged at 2,000 baht per egg per year.
Because storage is charged per egg, the yearly cost rises with the number of eggs frozen, which is worth factoring in when comparing clinics that charge per vial or per batch. A free nurse consultation is available before committing. The programme may suit women in Bangkok who want published starting prices and a clinic linked to an overseas fertility group.
Egg freezing from 100,000 baht
Storage 2,000 baht per egg per year
Fertility preservation for cancer and transgender patients

Worth confirming: The two egg-freezing price structures differ and both are starting figures; ask which applies, and get the yearly storage cost for the number of eggs you expect to freeze.
First Fertility PGS Center describes egg freezing as the same hormone stimulation used for IVF, followed by egg collection under sedation and freezing of the eggs for later use.
It lists career and education plans and cancer treatment among the reasons people choose to freeze. The page does not publish storage terms, storage fees or a package price, and it does not say who is eligible.
The clinic's main focus is IVF with embryo screening, and its personal assistants and multilingual team are presented as part of its service for overseas patients. The programme may suit women who expect to use their frozen eggs for ICSI at the same clinic and are prepared to request full costs in advance.

Worth confirming: Storage terms and fees are not published; ask for the package price, the annual storage charge and the storage period before starting.
Chiang Mai IVF Polyclinic lists egg banking alongside sperm and embryo freezing, describing long-term frozen storage as an option for both fertile and infertile people. Its pages do not set out an egg-freezing programme, eligibility rules, a package or storage fees.
The process would run through the same clinic as its IVF cycles, with monitoring and egg collection on site and stated RTAC accreditation. The clinic is open daily, which can make monitoring visits easier to fit around work.
Because so little is published, treat this as a starting point for questions rather than a defined package. It may suit women in northern Thailand who would rather not travel to Bangkok for each scan.
Egg, sperm and embryo banking

Worth confirming: Ask whether single women are accepted, the cost of a freezing cycle, the annual storage fee and how long eggs can be kept.
SAFE offers its egg-freezing package at the Phuket branch. Eggs are frozen by vitrification, and the group states that single women can freeze eggs for social reasons without a marital-status restriction.
The package brochure lists four monitoring visits with blood tests and scans, stimulation, suppression and trigger medication, egg collection with anaesthesia, and the first year's storage of up to 20 eggs. From the second year, storage is THB 10,000 per cycle per year with no limit on the number of eggs.
The package price itself is not published. The branch may suit women living in Phuket who want to complete monitoring and collection without travelling to Bangkok.
Open to single women
First year's storage included
Published storage fee from year two
RTAC mark covers this branch
Worth confirming: Ask for the package price and confirm where your eggs will be stored long term.
SAFE offers its egg-freezing package at the Sriracha branch.
The package price is not published. The branch may suit women in Pattaya or elsewhere in Chonburi who want monitoring close to home.
Open to single women
First year's storage included
Published storage fee from year two
Worth confirming: Ask for the package price, where eggs are stored long term, and how the branch laboratory is accredited.
Egg freezing uses the same hormone stimulation and egg collection as IVF, but the eggs are frozen unfertilised for possible use later. Your eggs may stay in a clinic's storage for many years, so storage terms, fees and the rules for moving them matter as much as the first price.
Frozen eggs are not a guarantee of a future pregnancy. The questions below are meant to help you compare clinics on like-for-like terms; whether egg freezing suits you, and how many cycles might be worthwhile, is something to discuss with a fertility specialist.
Who it is for and why age matters
People freeze eggs for medical reasons, such as before cancer treatment, and for personal reasons, such as wanting to keep the option of a biological child later. ESHRE's guideline on female fertility preservation covers both, including freezing because of age-related fertility decline.
Age at freezing is the main factor in how useful the eggs are later. The American Society for Reproductive Medicine says egg freezing tends to work best for people in their 20s to early 30s and is not commonly recommended over 38. It also warns that freezing can give a false sense of security that leads some people to delay further.
How many eggs, and realistic expectations
The number of eggs collected varies from person to person and cycle to cycle. The HFEA says most patients under 38 have around 7 to 14 eggs collected in a cycle, and that collection may not be possible for people with a low ovarian reserve. Some people need more than one cycle to store the number their specialist suggests.
Each egg has a modest chance of leading to a baby: ASRM puts it at roughly 2 to 12 per cent, falling with age at freezing. When eggs are used, they are thawed and fertilised by ICSI, so the later IVF cycle is a cost in its own right.
Eligibility in Thailand
Thailand's assisted reproduction law, the Protection of Children Born from Assisted Reproductive Technologies Act B.E. 2558 (2015), limits treatment to legally married couples as enacted. Clinics take different positions on freezing eggs for single women, and using those eggs later to create embryos falls under the same law.
A revised bill was put out for public consultation in July 2026; as reported, it would extend access to married same-sex couples and allow export of eggs, sperm and embryos with committee approval. It had not been enacted at the time of writing. Ask each clinic, in writing, whether you can freeze eggs there, and on what conditions you could later use them in Thailand or elsewhere.
Costs: the cycle, storage and using the eggs
Think of the cost in three parts, as ASRM does: the freezing cycle (consultation, tests, medication, monitoring and collection), storage each year, and the later cost of thawing, fertilising and transferring. Ask for each in writing, as many packages cover only the first part and perhaps a first period of storage.
Stimulation medication, and the cost of any dose above the allowance
Monitoring scans, egg collection and anaesthesia
Freezing, and how many years of storage are included
Annual storage fee after the included period, and whether it can rise
Thawing, ICSI and embryo transfer when the eggs are used
Storage terms and the end of storage
Storage rules differ by country and clinic. In the UK, for example, eggs can be stored for up to 55 years but consent must be renewed every 10 years, and the HFEA stresses keeping your contact details up to date so the clinic can reach you. Do not assume the same terms apply elsewhere.
Ask the clinic for its written storage agreement before you start. It should say how long eggs can be stored, how fees are billed and reminded, what happens if you miss payments or cannot be contacted, and what options you have at the end: using, donating where the law allows, or discarding the eggs.
Moving eggs to another country
If you may want to use your eggs abroad, check this before you freeze, not afterwards. Export of eggs from Thailand is regulated, and the 2026 draft bill proposes committee approval for it. Ask what is required today, who arranges shipping in specialist containers and whether the receiving clinic and country will accept them.
The HFEA also points out that a home-country regulator cannot help if something goes wrong with treatment abroad. Ask for copies of your records, including how many eggs were frozen and how, and find out how complaints are handled.
Laboratory questions
Eggs are more delicate than embryos to freeze. The HFEA notes that vitrification (rapid freezing) is more successful than the older slow-cooling method. Ask which method the laboratory uses, what proportion of eggs survive thawing, and how stored eggs are labelled, monitored and protected if equipment fails.
Questions to ask before you book
Can I freeze my eggs here given my marital status, and could I use them later in Thailand?
Based on my age and tests, how many eggs or cycles would you suggest, and why?
Do you freeze eggs by vitrification, and what proportion of your patients' eggs survive thawing?
Can I have an itemised written quote for the cycle, including medication and monitoring?
How many years of storage are included, and what is the annual fee after that?
Can the storage fee change, and how will you contact me about renewals?
What happens to my eggs if you cannot reach me or I stop paying?
What is required to move my eggs to a clinic in another country, and who arranges it?
What would it cost to thaw, fertilise and transfer the eggs later?
Warning signs
Presenting egg freezing as a guarantee of a future baby.
A recommended number of eggs given without reference to your age or test results.
No written storage agreement, or one that does not say what happens at the end of storage.
Storage fees quoted only for the first year, with later fees left open.
Unclear answers on whether you are eligible to freeze, or to use the eggs later, under Thai law.
Some clinics accept international patients for egg freezing, and some packages are aimed at people travelling in. Conditions differ by clinic and by marital status. Ask what documents are needed and confirm the answer in writing.
Can I move frozen eggs to another country?
Export is regulated. The draft revision put to consultation in July 2026 proposes committee approval for export of eggs, sperm and embryos; it is not yet law. Ask the clinic what is required today, who arranges shipping, and whether the receiving clinic can accept the eggs.
Is there an age limit for egg freezing?
Clinics set their own policies. The American Society for Reproductive Medicine says egg freezing tends to work better at younger ages and is not commonly recommended over 38. Discuss your situation with a fertility specialist.
Does a frozen egg guarantee a baby?
No. Frozen eggs keep an option open but do not guarantee a pregnancy. Age at freezing is the main factor in how useful they are later, according to ASRM.
