Cookie policy
Thai Clinic Guide does not use tracking or advertising cookies. This page lists the little that is stored in your browser and why.

What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep. Sites use them to remember settings, keep you signed in, or follow you across the web for advertising. Browsers also offer similar storage, called local storage, which a page can use to remember things without sending them back to a server.
What this site stores
Most pages store nothing at all. There are no accounts to stay signed in to, and no comments or forms that need a session.
The one exception is our self-checks. While you answer a questionnaire, your browser saves your progress in local storage so that a refresh or a closed tab does not lose your place. This information stays on your device: it is never sent to us and we cannot read it.
- What: your answers so far, the question you reached, and whether you finished
- Where: your browser's local storage for this site only
- How long: until you retake the self-check, or clear this site's data in your browser
- Why: so you can come back to a self-check without starting again
What we do not use
We do not use analytics, advertising, social media or retargeting cookies, and we do not use any technology to track you across other websites. Because we only use storage that is strictly needed for a feature you choose to use, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
Fonts and hosting
Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address when your browser fetches them. Google Fonts does not set cookies when serving fonts to our pages, but its own policies apply to the request.
Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie, for example to tell real visitors apart from automated attacks. It is not used for advertising or to build a profile of you.
Embedded content
We do not embed maps, videos, social media buttons or chat tools from other companies, so none of them can set cookies through our pages. Provider pages give an address and a link to the provider's own website instead.
Controlling storage in your browser
Every major browser lets you view and delete cookies and site data, block them altogether, or browse in a private window that forgets them when you close it. Look under privacy or site settings in your browser.
If you block local storage, the site still works. The self-checks will simply not remember your progress between visits.
Other websites
We link to hospitals, clinics, regulators and other sources. Once you follow a link, the other site's own cookie policy applies. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their cookies.
If this changes
If we ever add visitor statistics or any other tool that uses cookies, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it. Questions can go to [email protected].
