About

MedPark occupies a 25-storey building on Rama IV Road designed for 550 inpatient beds at full operation, opening in phases. The hospital says it focuses on high-acuity and complex disease, and that most of its specialists hold American board certification or equivalent international training.

Emergency physicians are on duty around the clock, supported by a critical care team, a dedicated emergency CT scanner, land and air ambulances and a rooftop helipad. The critical care centre is planned for up to 130 ICU and CCU beds, 65 of them currently open, with one nurse per patient.

Its list of around 60 centres includes cardiology, oncology, gastrointestinal and liver, and an Obstetrics and Gynecology Center whose delivery rooms connect to the neonatal intensive care unit. The home page shows a JCI accreditation certificate.

Hospitals

MedPark is a newer private hospital on Rama IV Road that says it was built for complex, high-acuity cases. It reports that nearly 70% of its specialists hold American board certification or international accreditation.

The emergency department on the G floor is open 24 hours, with in-department CT and X-ray, a hybrid operating room with biplane angiography, a helipad, and ECMO and balloon-pump support for transfers. The critical care centre is planned for 130 ICU and CCU beds, 65 of them open so far, with one nurse per ICU patient. Aeromedical evacuation by air ambulance, helicopter or commercial flight is offered within Thailand and abroad.

The hospital does not publish an international patient desk or a list of languages. It may suit patients with serious or complex conditions, or those being transferred from other hospitals, who want intensive care capacity close at hand.

Mental Health Services

MedPark's psychiatry clinic is an outpatient service whose team combines psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists and psychiatric nurse specialists. Its page names seven psychiatrists, including subspecialists in child and adolescent, geriatric, addiction and palliative psychiatry.

The conditions list is broad, from depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia to PTSD, OCD, ADHD, eating disorders, gambling disorder, burnout and sleep problems. Treatment options are medication, psychotherapy, behavioural therapy, and occupational and physical therapy. Named counselling services cover older adults, loss after miscarriage, changes linked to dementia or physical illness, and support for patients admitted to the hospital for other treatment.

Initial outpatient counselling is for people aged 15 and over. Session languages, online consultations and fees are not published, and the page describes no psychiatric ward or crisis service. It may suit adults who want a psychiatrist within a general hospital with long daily hours.

The Executive programme for ages 30 to 40 covers blood tests, urine and stool, chest X-ray, ECG and basic eye screening, with a Pap and HPV test in the women's version; the Comprehensive programme adds tumour markers, thyroid and vitamin D, abdominal ultrasound and a stress test or echocardiogram.
